Word for the day "Endure"
Matthew 24: 10 (NKJV) And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.Did you know according to the Bible, there is a time called the end time? Jesus spoke of this. In today’s word cup reading, outlining in the last days many who claim to be God’s people would lose their faith in God.This loss of faith in people of God would occur due to the increasing wickedness in our world, verse 12, says the “the love of many would grow cold”. Many will be deceived by false teachers who will lead them away from God (II Thessalonians 2:9-12). I see evidence of these realities and sayings today, and I am certain you see them as well!I am not sharing this information to create fear for you or your family, but rather sharing this with you to strengthen your faith in God especially in the world in which we live today, please read again verse 13; we have to “Endure” people of God! We see the outworking's of these realities in our world, our families, our jobs, our churches, in our communities, our cities: (If you understand what I am saying today please write me or just pray for me that I will be able to Endure as I will be praying for you and yours). One Definition of Endure: To support adverse force or influence of any kind; suffer without yielding; suffer patiently: Even in the darkest ages humanity has endured. (I know this message is for someone today).Point to ponder: These passages reveal the dark side of humanity that will be so evident as time grows short. But as we Endure these times, we should ask God in our times of Prayer to develop the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives: Love, Peace, Faith, Temperance, Long Suffering, (Galatians 5:22). This is a proactive way to be able to discern false teachings, and the loss of your faith in God.Kingdom Blessings,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
