Word for the day "Don't Stop Praying"
Luke 18 (MSG) 1 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit.I wonder did you know Prayer is the most powerful spiritual tool available to a believer. Through an open heart and a willingness to be immersed in Scripture, people will find that they are covered by God’s Spirit. Why am I writing this today? Because your life and your family, friends, and even enemies are depending on you living out a Prayer filled life! When people completely depend on God, they find that they are richly blessed and forgiven, and all of their needs will be met by God and His divine grace. Prayer does not change God, precious family, Prayer changes you! And we need to be changed daily in order to live life in a way that pleases God almighty.Confession, Thanksgiving, Praise, Supplication, and Intercession, are all aspects of Prayers! Taking it further then we have prayers for specific needs ranging from physical healing, financial needs, worship and hope, to salvation and eternal life. In today's passage Jesus shares with the disciples that is was Necessary for them to Pray consistently and these words are Necessary for us today in the 21st Century! Now we have to connect our prayers with the scriptures read them and I am learning there are more than 100 prayers based on Scripture. Every prayer reflects a believer’s sincere, heartfelt desire to be more of the person God calls His people to be. Whatever you do just "Don’t stop praying"!All in His Love,Pastor James Baker, Jr.
