Word for the day "If He did it before, He can do it again"

Joshua 4:21 (NIV) He said to the Israelites, “In the future when your descendants ask their parents, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22 tell them, ‘Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the Lord your God dried up the Jordan before you until you had crossed over. The Lord your God did to the Jordan what he had done to the Red Sea[b] when he dried it up before us until we had crossed over. 24 He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.”Brothers and sisters in my humble opinion the best stories in life are the ones that parallel our own life experiences and situations. These stories are able to bridge time and space, and we feel a part of them. That’s why a great measure of the Bible is written using real-life stories that tell of God’s great love for us and his plan to redeem us.We cannot tell the story of the Lord without telling the story of our own life and experience with the Lord. And that’s what the Bible does for us who read it. We read stories about people and how God worked in their lives, and we see how that applies to our lives today.” That’s what today’s word cup is sharing, the power of the Lord in times past. And if the Lord did it before, He can do it again, this is relevant to our lives here and now. Tell your family, friends, and enemies of How great our God is! Have a great day people of God and know the Lord’s track record is good!Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, history is your story and because of your story Lord, I have a story; a story of redemption, grace, mercy and love. I pray Lord God, that my story will reflect your glory and will serve as a testimony of the power of your love for me and for all others to see. In Christ name, Amen…
