Word for the day "Jesus is the Center of it all"

John 15:19 (NLT) The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. It’s difficult to chase after material possessions and focus on building character at the same time. But, society encourages us to chase hard after material possessions while paying very little attention to the accumulation of spiritual rewards. What do you chase hard after?Today so many of us are enthralled in the luring and temporal worldwide treasure hunt. Some people seek treasure from earthly sources, treasures such as material wealth or public acclaim; others seek God’s treasures by making Him the cornerstone of their lives. We live in the world to influence the standards of Jesus, not to be influenced by its standards! What kind of treasure chaser are you? Are you so caught up in the demands of everyday living that you sometimes allow the search for worldly treasures to become your primary focus? If so, it’s time to reorganize your daily lives by not placing God first but placing God at the center of it all!The world’s treasures are difficult to find and difficult to keep; God’s treasures are ever-present and everlasting. Which treasures, then, will you claim as your own? We want outcomes that are sustained and enduring in our lives sisters and brothers. Jesus is the Center it all, have a fantastic day!Quote: Warren Wiersbe “Because the world is deceptive, it is dangerous. The world can even deceive God’s own people and lead them into trouble.”
