Word for the day "Let's Meditate day and night"

Malachi 3:16 (NKJV) Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him, For those who fear the Lord, And who meditate on His name.Although we might not think about it much, our communication with God involves two equally important parts: we know it as “prayer and meditation”. Prayer is talking to God. Most of us have this component down. Meditation is hearing and listening to God, and it’s here that most of us need a bit of work. Where do you stand on meditation?Have you ever been in a relationship where the other person does all the talking? It gets old fast, doesn’t it? The one up side is you become a good listener while the other person gets everything out of his/her system. But there’s a negative side too: always listening and never talking leads you to begin to feel insignificant, not loved, and sometimes even taken for granted. Have you ever experienced this negative side in any of your relationships? Now, think about how this applies to your relationship with God. Are you doing all the talking, without ever taking the time to listen? If you’re sharing with the Lord from the secret places of your heart, that’s wonderful! By all means, continue this component of relationship. Just make sure, that you also take the time to use the (discernment) ears of your heart to listen to God as well.Keep in mind, the Lord often times can speak with a still, small voice; The Lord hardly ever screams at His children. I heard it explained this way once, “God is a gentleman.” That’s why meditation is such an important component of prayer. It teaches you to develop a quiet, patient heart and an open, discerning ear. These are imperative components to growing in your walk with the Lord. Yes, the book of Malachi does share some other significant points besides paying tithes, have a fantastic day!
