Word for the day "God has not forgotten you"

^{Isaiah 49:14 (KJV)} But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me.”¹⁵ “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget,Yet I will not forget you.As another week is coming to an end, I feel compelled to let someone know that “God has not forgotten you” The Bible likens the Lord to many different things in order to illustrate his relationship with us. In those comparisons, the Lord is usually represented in a masculine form: bridegroom, king, husband, warrior, father, etc. The primal point of speaking of God in these various ways is to express God as being relational to us.'Zion' is a reference IN V 14, to Jerusalem or the people of Jerusalem, who said the Lord (God), had forsaken and forgotten them. But, says Isaiah, God could not forget his people, as a mother could not forget her child, expressing another relational aspect or consideration of understanding God in our lives. The feminine gender is expressed here in this passage, but the point in verse 15, is even if a Mother could forget her child, God won’t forget you, no matter what the situation is going on in your life sisters and brothers. Not because I am saying so, but because God’s Word says so! “God has not forgotten you”I am not trying to convince you here that God is a woman in this passage of scripture. Neither am I trying to tell you to become a goddess worshipper based on today’s Word. However, understanding and including the feminine images of God helps us feel the full embodiment, beauty, and the wonder of God in our role as children of God both male and female. But even more important than all of what I am saying here is “God will not forget you” So whoever you are reading today’s message in this moment, I have a message for you from the Lord “God has not forgotten you” Have a great weekend and love you all!
