Word for the day "All belongs to God"

Luke 17:15 (NASB) Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, 16 and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they? 18 Was no one found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Stand up and go; your faith has made you well.”Sometimes in working for the Lord people will come up to me and express their appreciation for what I do and other times working for the Lord is without fanfare. I thank them for doing so, but I also tell them, “Bottom line, I am just doing my job as God’s servant. I don’t deserve extra credit or special applause. I am just doing what I am supposed to do as a Servant, because one day, we will stand before God and will be held accountable for how faithful we were with what God gave us. But there are times when we need to be affirmed by people in this service life for God.Jesus gave an example of a man whose hired servants did their work as expected. Jesus asked, “Does (the man) thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, “We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our reasonable service” (Luke 17:9–10).Everything we have belongs to God. Our families belong to God. Our careers belong to God. Our possessions belong to God. Everything is His. And we want to make sure that we remember that in all that we say and do. Always remember to thank those who encourage you along this life in God, and at the times when no one says an encouraging word just remember “You are doing what you are supposed to do” Have a great weekend and know that I am praying for you like never before.
