Word for the day: "Strategic Parenting"
Ephesians 6 :( NIV) 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”4 Fathers do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
As we enter the new school year I'm making a declaration and commitment for parents raising children: You will minimize the chaos, confusion and conflict that often begin you and your children’s day. The job of empowering our children in the world we live in is hard enough without the daily drama which often begins our days. If you agree with me today parents join me in this declaration for parents!
Parents reading today’s word: I believe God for your mornings to go better this year with less frustration, yelling, and conflict. The hopelessness, the discontent, and fussing must be replaced with empowerment and organizational leadership practices. The useless feeling that you (parents) can't ever get it all together is not true and starting today we can start anew with the useful feeling of "Strategic Parenting". Begin organizing the night before about the day ahead and make your children a part of the plan. It doesn’t matter how old your children are, if they can talk then they are old enough to work with you!
This is a new school year and a new day for parents, we must help our children get to the next level but this can only be done with the help of the Lord and strategic parenting. Have a tremendous school year with your children and watch God work on your behalf!
