Word for the day " Faithful Servant"
I Samuel 2:35 (NASB) But I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in My heart and in My soul; and I will build him an enduring house, and he will walk before My anointed always. What is the primary purpose of the Christian life? One primary purpose of our lives for God is death and so that Christ may live through us! Please understand I have not loss my mind and allow me to explain my heart on this matter of death. Both God and Satan want you dead, but for different reasons. God wants your old nature dead, to live through you. Satan wants to kill, steal and destroy your destiny forever (John 10:10 KJV).The purpose of the cross for Jesus was death and the same destiny is ours. Remember Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it” (Matthew 16:24-25 NIV). Believe me today this is our purpose and destiny there are some things in our lives that only God can birth through us when we embrace the cross. In today’s reading we find these words v35 But I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who will do according to what is in My heart and in My soul. Now this is where the rubber meets the road, are you ready to be that faithful servant through whom God can express His life? The only way this can happen is to embrace the cross and allow God’s life to be realized through you.Quote: Michael Molinos summarizes spiritual death for us today: “Dying to the self –belongs to those who are being completed in Christ”.Today’s message is dedicated to those Soldiers who have fallen and those who are alive and serve our country America as servants of God!! Blessings and peace family.Elder Baker
