Exodus 2:11(NKJV) Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. 12 So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
Has God given you a vision that is yet unfulfilled? If that vision is born of God, our God will raise it up in His own way. Please be reminded today, that our assignment is always for the Lord. Often we get ideas, and assign those ideas to the Lord. However, when a vision idea or prompting originates from the Lord, God will always provide what is needed with His provision.
Do not try to fulfill the vision in your own strength like Moses, who tried to fulfill the vision of freeing the Hebrews by killing the Egyptian, it will only fail. But wait on the Lord to fulfill the vision. By waiting on the Lord, then you will know that it is His vision, and He will fulfill it in a way that only God can. It’s always God’s Vision that gets exalted!
Moses had a vision of leading his people out of the bondage of Egypt (birth). Pharaoh as well as his own people drove Moses out of Egypt, after his first attempt to relieve them from bondage (death). Moses thought he could fulfill this vision on his own, he thought he could do this without consulting God. When he realized his way wasn’t working, he then consulted God. He became intimate with God and yielded to Gods will for this vision. God gave Moses signs and wonders to convince Pharaoh to free the people, and bring them out of Egypt into the Promised Land (fulfillment). God provided the way of escape. (provision)
When the Lord gives a vision, it is accompanied with God’s provision, and will always be under God’s supervision. Often it takes us some time to be coordinated with God and His purpose for our life, as it did for Moses. But always give yourself some time and develop an intimate connection with the Lord, to understand His heart for your life!
Point to ponder- No matter how great the vision, if God is not at the forefront it will not work! But wait on your Great God to fulfill the vision He has purposed for your life. God will never give you a vision, without providing you the resources to fulfill it.
