Philippians 3:15-16 (MSG) So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.
Where’s your focus? Is your limited vision of life keeping you from experiencing the world around you? Will you focus on all the problems and challenges that you expect this new year to bring or will you simply put your hope, trust and focus in God almighty?
In this New Year 2018, will you trust God and focus on the Lord rather than your own abilities? Will you enjoy the process of the journey that you are on and allow God to teach you about His grace, mercy, and love for you or will you focus solely on completing the journey without any challenges and controversies?
Point to ponder- As we enter the start of a new year, my prayer for you is that you focus more on the character of God and less on your circumstance. Tell your circumstances about your God, and have a great Monday!
Our Leadership team is especially thankful for those of you who provided financial donations and support in the month of January 2018 by partnering with us in efforts to advance the kingdom of God in this 21st century season: Special thanks to Mr. William Wilson, Mrs. Annette Straker, Mr. Kenneth Washington, and Ms. Gertrude Scott. Why don’t you take the opportunity to write us on our blog and let us know how we are doing in serving you Great people, we’d love to hear from you!
