Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

How can you love and believe in God, if you are not in relationship with God? Can you trust God with your life, here and hereafter, if you are not sure the Lord is willing and able to care for you? Today’s message is saying; All that has to do with the Lord takes faith. And the Bible says faith “is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It’s the evidence of things we cannot yet see. Now this is not an easy thing, it’s a Now Faith a thing.

And the Bible says that faith is grounded in our very understanding of God: Anyone who wants to come to God, must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6). Before you can really seek God, you’ve got to truly believe that your search will lead to something, somewhere, and most importantly, to Someone worth looking for. Now is the time to grow in faith in God! Are growing in your faith? or are you growing in ways that deplete your need for God?

Point to ponder- If your faith in God is not where you want it, ask God for it. If the faith you have is not as strong as you think it ought to be, ask God to help you strengthen your faith. Remember the Bible speaks of faith as a grace and gift rather than something you obtain by your own efforts. This Lent season seek the grace and gift of Now Faith in God!
