Hebrews 10:36 (NLT) Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
When you trust God’s promises-and when you try your best to honor the Lord with your prayers, your thoughts, and your actions-you will continue building character every day of your life. Unfortunately we are not committed to building character in our lives!
Are you willing to trust God completely, or are you living beneath a cloud of doubt and fear? God’s Word makes it clear: you should trust the Lord and His promises; when you do, you will live wisely and well. Are you tired? Discouraged? Or even Fearful?
Be comforted today by this message and trust the promises that God has made to you. Are you struggling against a powerful temptation? Be courageous and call upon God. God will give you the strength to rise above your challenges. Are you confused? Listen to the quiet voice of your Heavenly Father.
The Lord is not a God of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33 KJV). Do you really trust God’s promises, or are you living in the middle of the road? Today, think about the role that God’s Word plays in your life, and think about ways that you can worry less and trust God more.
Quote Charles Swindoll – “There are four words I wish we would never forget, and they are, “God keeps his word.”
