Word for the day “Playground for the Devil”

Ecclesiastes 4:5 (NLT) “Fools fold their idle hands, leading them to ruin.

Various studies have shown that the mind needs stimulation. If there is no stimulation, physical or mental, the mind will create its own by getting involved in the business of others, or by creating or imaging problems that aren’t really there. The mind and body were designed to be interactive. An idle mind is a playground for the devil; I am speaking today from my own experience.

We are told, in ( I Corinthians 15:58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord”, so we should always be about the Business of doing what’s right, and not giving place the devil (Ephesians 4:27)!

Those who are idle, having no purpose and nothing to do (mentally or physically) can get themselves into trouble. Satan can certainly use someone who is bored, angry and has ‘nowhere to go’ mentally, and point him in his direction. (Philippians 4:8) tells us what to keep our minds on when it says:”…Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.
